It’s not a ReShade notification — it’s a QuantV update notification

you can remove quantv.addon to get rid of the notification. I've noticed no difference, Quantv still works but the notification is gone

Why with this quantV we don't have rain drops on cars?

Mine works but im switching from QuantV to VisualV + MVR (Make Visuals Remastered) + PRSA ENB + Rain Effects + Quality Vehicle Raindrops + (maybe if i can make it work) Reshade with iMMERSE RTGI shaders. Then maybe i can make a clickbait youtube video titled "GTA5 Ultra Remaster Ray Tracing Hyperealism Legacy Enhanced!!" lmao. Jokes aside QuantV is nice and simple to install, but it's more on the cinematic side. if you want realism with rain drops on cars, there are better ways to go about it, they just aren't as well-known because it requires mod stacking and specific install order,

remove quantv.addon from your main game folder. I'm using NVE (Textures only) + QuantV and nothing changes after deleting that file except the stupid update reminder goes away. All QuantV functions are still intact.

After deleting the addon, the raindrops stopped appearing on the cars, and the nighttime brightness is definitely different.

I'm not really into NVE or the others, but I'm wondering if I should just use them anyway, even if it's uncomfortable.

yeah me too i'm not huge fan of nve's graphics, but at least when i was playing with NVE i could play some weeks or months without updating anything

The tip of deleting quantV addon doesnt work. Your whole reshade option stops working (streetlights, raindrops, etc.)

damn alright. i guess i didnt notice. ive already decided to switch from quantv to look for something aimed at realism over cinematics, but its tough on 3725 without enb working. i know the raindrops can be readded via Rain Effects + High Quality Raindrops on Cars. Both mods are on gta5-mods. idk how to fix the night lighting.

not mine lol. i wouldnt recommend it without doing it first. i did fail to note i ran reshade 6.6.2 installer before starting the game so i have more than just quantv shaders to play with. everything still works on my end. as long as reshade is installed, quantv can work. delete quantv.addon but leave dxgi.asi

yeah i've tried it, but i don't have anymore raindrops, volumetric clouds,... Graphics are not anymore impressive

i beg to differ. the raindrops and other graphics changed if u delete the quantv.addon.. this sht made me mad when the first time I paid for the mod and still asking to update and u also need to pay for other month. this is BS

yeah that's so annoying SMH you pay a graphic pack and then you have this message, so you have to pay again. Worst thing i've seen
