The stock chat box does the job, but it’s the one part of your server that never got the polish everything else did. BUPA Chat replaces it completely — the same y use (provide ‘chat’), a clean modern UI,and almost everything driven from readable config files.

What it does

Real channels, not one feed
OOC (global + local/proximity), Admin, PD, EMS, Gang — plus any custom category you invent. Each channel has its own command, colour, placeholder and length limit, and can be locked behind ACE permissions, jobs (down to the grade), or gangs.

Message tags that actually mean something
Hour, server ID, character name, job + grade toggles and recolours on its own, withper-job colour overrides. Names censor to initials when you want, and masks hide identity entirely (with a collection list for the masks that shouldn’t).

Roleplay, built in
/me and /do float above the player’s head and post a styled line to chat. Plus small extras players actually use —
/dice (custom min/max) and /rps — and you caand-new emote commands from plain config.

Quality-of-life the default chat never had
Command history (arrow keys + a Shift + ↑ hi & channel cycling, slash-optional commands,a searchable emoji picker, typing indicators, player IDs above heads, keyboard SFX, and a per-player settings panel (accent colour, position, font size, density, streamer mode).

Two-way Discord + server tools
Bridge Discord channels into game chat (per-channel permissions/jobs/gangs), log messages out via webhooks, and use native txAdmin styling for announcements, scheduled restarts and direct messages — plus welcome & auto-broadcast messages.

Ships in 10 languages — EN, TR, DE, ES, FR, IT, NL, PL, PT, RU. Works on QBCore & QBox, and the config plus core hooks are left open so you can fit it to your server.
