What's that?
ddev_farm is a complete farming loop for FiveM: harvest nodes with a two-stage timing minigame
and sell into a market whose prices move with real player volume. Free release, full source,
no escrow and no license server.
Runs on QBCore, Qbox (QBX) and ESX. The resource auto-detects the framework on boot through a
small bridge layer, so there is nothing to configure per core.
FEATURES
- Two-stage harvest minigame - the progress bar pauses at 25% and 75% for a timing check; the
number of successful checks decides the quality: Spoiled (0.35x), Normal (1.00x), Prime (1.80x)
- Supply and demand market - prices follow real player sales instead of a fixed table. Dumping
stock pushes the price down, an idle market drifts back to its base price. Anti-dump damping
and per-player daily caps are enforced server-side.
- Progression - lifetime harvests unlock levels, each level adds a permanent bargaining bonus to
the sell price. Players see level, bonus roadmap and recent sales on the tablet panel.
- Node placement without a restart - /farmplace places single nodes or draws a line of nodes
with spacing, height and rotation control, then applies them in-game.
- In-game admin panel - /farmadmin covers market, harvest, minigame, world, progression, tools,
setup and language tabs. No file editing required for normal tuning.
- 6 UI languages - English, Turkish, German, French, Italian, Spanish, switchable server-wide
- Server-side validation - harvest caps, sell caps, cooldowns, inventory checks and price limits
all run on the server. Client events are never trusted.
REQUIREMENTS
oxmysql - database
ox_lib - notifications, locale
ox_inventory - items
Framework: QBCore / Qbox (QBX) / ESX, detected at runtime
Optional: the corn prop comes from the free "BzZz Addon Props" pack
(prop_bzzz_gardenpack_cornstalk001). It is not bundled with the release. If the pack is missing,
corn nodes are skipped silently and everything else keeps working - or point
Config.CropPropModel.corn at any prop you already stream.
INSTALLATION
1. Drop the ddev_farm folder into your resources directory.
2. Add the item definitions from the README to ox_inventory/data/items.lua.
3. Optionally copy apple.png, tomato.png, corn.png, orange.png to ox_inventory/web/images/
as fallback inventory icons (quality icons are served from the resource itself).
4. ensure ddev_farm in server.cfg, after oxmysql, ox_lib and ox_inventory.
5. Start the server. Database tables are created on first boot.
COMMANDS
/farmtablet - player panel (level, bonus roadmap, recent sales, preferences)
/farmadmin - admin config panel
/farmplace - node placement tool
/farmpos <crop> - save your current position as a node
